Gameplay
Each round you are granted 20 credits to spend on hints in order to help you identify the game.
Hint | Effect |
---|---|
Unblur | Makes the image slightly unblurry. Can be used up to 6 times to reveal the image. |
Show MC | Adds the main character to the image (affected by the blur) |
Show NPC | Adds enemies or objects to the image (affected by the blur) |
Year | Adds the release year to the info panel |
Genre | Adds the game genre to the info panel |
Developer | Adds the game studio to the info panel |
When you’re ready to make a guess, you must choose the title from a list of games (all EU/NA releases for this edition). A correct guess converts your unused credits into score. A wrong guess takes 1 credit away (the round ends if you have no credit left). On the image screen, you can also hold SELECT to end the round early and score 0 points.
After 12 rounds, you get a postcard with your final score and a password for authentication in the fashion of many Satellaview games.
The game is named after Parabo, one of the two Satellaview mascots. (Satebo: ) and Parabo: ) \
